I Love Dance - J'aime la DanseMy performance with MONAD at ArtSpring Gallery in 2016, was a great success! Thank you to everyone who supported our project.

What was it about?
Pushing the boundaries of dance and movement into physical theatre and performance art. It's all about our water source, St. Mary Lake. Inspiring you to want to take action to take care of our environment.

Paradise_Lost_low_res.jpgI am the Dance Outreach Coordinator and Communiy Engagement Facilitator for Made in BC-Dance on Tour and ArtSpring. To honour National Dance Week (April 22-29) and International Dance Day (April 29), I have created this page to help the Salt Spring Island community find dance activities on our island.

Please let me know of any dance activities that should be listed here. Check back often for new dance events.

Keep Dancing!

This web page project is part of the Canadian I Love Dance/J'aime la danse campaign to engage the general public and grow awareness for and appreciation of dance as integral to Canadian cultural expression. It is supported by ArtSpring, Made in BC-Dance on Tour, and the Canadian Dance Alliance. Thanks also to Salt Spring Arts Council, the Driftwood Newspaper, Fishbowl Magazine and The Islands MarketPlace.
