Moshe Feldenkrais, D. Sc. developed this Method in the late
1940's. A mechanical engineer and physicist, Dr. Feldenkrais also
worked in nuclear research with Nobel laureate Frederic
Joliot-Curie. He was the first European to earn a black belt in
Judo. Synthesizing this training with his deep curiosity and study
of linguistics, biology, neurology, perinatal development and
athletics, Dr. Feldenkrais taught himself to walk without pain after
a crippling knee injury.

mental process. Among his students were Margaret Mead, David

"The most effective way to health &
well-being lies in self-observation - to be aware of what you are
doing, and be able to move as you intend."
